McGurn is one of the longest reigning Knights, beginning his tenure back in 2019. He has been a main-stay on this team. He’s played 117 games with the Knights, scoring a total of 25 goals and 66 assists. McGurn served as an alternate captain last year.
On October 11th, London Native George Diaco was traded from the Hamilton Bulldogs to the London Knights. Since then, he’s made quite the impression. In 10 games with the Knights, Diaco has 6 goals and 7 assists.
Both McGurn and Diaco are in their final year of OHL eligibility.
This is the first time since the 2015-16 season that the Knights have two players wearing the C. The Knights won the Memorial Cup that year, led by co-captains Mitch Marner and Christian Dvorak.
