Londoners gathered over the weekend at Central Hall to check out the Psychic & Crystal Fair hosted and organized by Galaxy Fairs.
The fair featured everything from Psychics, Mediums, Aura Readers, Astrologists, and a variety of jewels, gems, crystals, and hand-crafted jewellery from a variety of vendors all across Canada.
The fair having been postponed the last two years due to the pandemic drew in Londoners, with many of them having never attended the fair in the past, and drew in lots of newcomers like Crystal.
“This is actually my first Psychic Fair, I’ve been to things like tarot readers and psychics and like energy workers, and healers,” she said.
Having always been interested in the occult and supernatural, Crystal had been waiting for the fair to arrive in London
“So yeah, so yeah I was just really curious what goes on at these events? I’ve always wanted to go to one of these types of events” she added.
The Fair also saw its fair share of regulars in attendance like Fanshawe student Jordan, who was checking out the Fair with her mom.
“My spirituality has definitely helped out with my mental health, I’ve found that spiritualism in general has helped heal me in that aspect,” she said.
“It’s healing, taking off layers to find who you really are, it helps give me a more positive outlook on life,’ she added, having to leave for a reading she had scheduled there at the fair for that day.
Owner of Galaxy Psychic Fairs and the organizer of the Fair, Mira, was glad to finally bring back the fair to London.
“We tried to put together the best energy happy events where people come out to have a good time and hopefully walk away with feeling better,” he said.
Mira has been running for decades, having worked with a number of vendors like Mark Pearson, a Wiccan Priest.
“I’ve been with these guys for about a year now, there’s a core group of us that travelled together we actually travel all the way across Canada from British Columbia to Ontario,” he said.
Mark has been a reader for over 40 years and provides a variety of services.
“I do lots of various different things, everything from energy healings, past life regression mediumship work. psychic work, and rune reading,” he continued.
“But really it’s all abilities that we all have inside ourselves, these are things that were part of our culture for a very long time, but our modern culture has pushed those things off to the side. But we really are evolving and changing,” he added.
Galaxy Fairs will next be headed to Kitchener from January 27th to the 29th.
