Jordan Peterson is on his Beyond Order tour to promote his book 12 ways of life. Peterson spoke in London on Tuesday at Centennial Hall where he spoke in front of a sold-out crowd and many supporters outside who couldn’t get tickets.
Outside of centennial hall, there was a large group of people cheering and supporting Peterson for what he does and what he speaks on. He is known for speaking on controversial topics that many people get upset about.
“He is basically being attacked because he spoke freely on his own personal and private social media accounts,” said a member of the group supporting him outside of centennial hall.
XFM spoke to one of the members of the group who loves and admires who Peterson is and how he uses his freedom of speech to share his thoughts. Peterson has many fans who agree with his views but also many people who strongly disagree with the comments that he makes.
On social media, there were people who were upset about how he was coming to speak in London but at the event, there was only support for him. A woman that spoke to XFM was upset about how Peterson should be able to speak and share his thoughts just like anyone else.
“He should be free to speak about his political beliefs just as much as anyone else. And I’m a high school teacher, and if my college teachers tried to silence me and try to tell me what political views I should hold, I’d be as just as upset as Jordan Peterson.”
People who were attending the show were very happy to see the support that he was getting from the fans outside cheering his name.
Peterson continues his Beyond-Order tour as he speaks in Hamilton on Feb 1 and then in Detriot Michigan on Feb 2.
