The Kensington Bridge that connects Riverside Drive to downtown London has been a topic of discussion for the City Of London over the last couple months and finally they now bring their plans to the public.
“One of the plans is to completely remove the bridge and replace it with a new one” John Pucchio said.
John Pucchio is the project manger that is overseeing the entire Kensington project and mentions while the city is not yet set on its plans they see a world where either plan could work.
The other plan involves putting a lot of money and time into restoring the 90 year old bridge my working on it one bit at time while leaving the bridge open at reduced lanes.
The new bridge however will offer a more modern take which works well with how the city is modernizing its streets with all the new rapid transit projects being brought to the city.
The city plans to go to a vote with the city to help gain where the city stands with the 2 main plans and it is not expected to continue until at least mid to late 2023.
