A 36-year-old London man is facing multiple charges after a hit-and-run left two women injured.
London police say the incident that involved a vehicle hitting two pedestrians, occurred at the intersection of Wonderland and Sarnia road around 9:15 p.m. Friday night. Police also say that while speaking to witnesses they were then able to locate the driver of the vehicle and arrest him shortly after.
Police also say at the moment “there is nothing to suggest that the motor vehicle collision was hate-motivated.”
As a result, the 36-year-old, who is yet to be named, has been charged with failure to remain at the scene, as well as failure to yield to a pedestrian.
The situation is still ongoing and a court date has yet to be announced.
