A three-vehicle crash in Middlesex Center on Tuesday morning has resulted in the deaths of two people along with additional injuries.
Police, emergency medical services, and fire departments were called to a three-vehicle crash on Highbury Avenue in Middlesex Center, north of London.
Middlesex County OPP say the incident occurred Tuesday at around 5:23 a.m.
“Most of these accidents are speed related” says OPP Seargent Ed Sanchuk, adding that drivers need to be cautious for the upcoming family day long weekend.
Ten people were sent to the hospital after the collision, four of them had injuries that were potentially fatal. According to police, two people have died as a result.
This marks another serious collision following the death of a 75-year-old woman after she was struck by a school bus on Monday.
Sanchuk reminds drivers to warm up their minds before driving as well as to keep their foot off the gas pedal and of course to not drink and drive.
