A man from West Perth is facing multiple charges as part of a large investigation across southern Ontario. He is facing multiple charges of theft and possession of property obtained by crime.
The crimes were committed across the Waterloo Region, Oxford County, Perth County, Huron County, Stratford, and Wellington.
The man is alleged to be involved with an OPP and Stratford Police Services investigation on several property crimes committed throughout September.
Officers found a stolen vehicle in Listowel on Tuesday. They say the driver tried to get away, but he was caught and arrested.
The 22-year-old man was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of theft over $5,000, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, operation while prohibited and failure to comply with a probation order.
