London Street Outreach, a Christian based organization has been going strong for six years now, 4 days a week, giving those in need clean clothes, as well as food, drinks and other essential items.
“On Bathurst Street we usually get over one hundred people” said the Co-Coordinator for London Street Outreach, Carol Butt. “Here at this location [Corner of King’s and Adelaide] we get around 60 or 80 people.”
The Director of London Street Outreach, Paul Presant, says that he was first struck with “divine inspiration” for this program during his time at “Ark Aid Mission”.
“It was in the middle of Covid.” said Presant. “I audibly heard from God to get out of your comfort zone and get out on the street.”
London Street Outreach is partnered with a variety of other church’s and stores, including, but not limited to, Delta Arms, the First Baptist Church, 519 Pursuit, Harvest Hands, among others.
