A London police cruiser was involved in a collision with a cyclist Tuesday morning, between Pegler Street and Smith Street on Hamilton Road. London police spokesperson Gavin Dell said that the cyclist was taken to the hospital after the crash.
“The accident involves a cyclist and a marked line police service cruiser,” said Dell. “The cyclist was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.”
A Major Collision Investigation truck later appeared on the scene to gather evidence and pictures related to the crash.
Dell had also said that road will remain closed at this time, as the investigation continues.
“Obviously the road will remain closed for right now,” he said. “We will update online once it’s reopened.”
