Museum London embraced Halloween festivities throughout October, with its second annual Haunted Histories, culture walk, designed to showcase London’s “spooky history.”
Tour guide Denise Love said she was inspired to start the Haunted Histories last year, after learning about some chilling historical events that took place at different buildings and locations throughout the city’s core.
“I just love scaring people and showing off the interesting history we have here in London,” said Love. “We stop at many places that have some kind of haunted or darker past.”
Each walk takes visitors to about 20 stops, where they hear stories about everything from old murder trials to mysterious disappearances .
In addition to Londoners, participants have been coming from out of town to get a taste of Halloween season here in London, Love said.
Haunted Histories is part of the Museum’s continued efforts to show Londoners what the city has to offer.
