Every October, a residential property on Cranbrook Road in London transforms into an elaborate Halloween display, drawing visitors to one of the city’s seasonal haunted attractions.
The Styles family runs Cranbrook Manor, located at 644 Cranbrook Road, which they have developed into an extensive Halloween experience featuring themed decorations, animatronics, lighting, and sound effects.
The attraction includes a walk-through experience designed around traditional horror themes. Visitors encounter different scenes featuring costumed characters and special effects, creating an environment intended to simulate a haunted house.
The display also accommodates visitors who prefer a less frightening experience. Designated family-friendly hours allow younger visitors to view the decorations without the full scare experience.
“It’s really cool to see people who came here as children bring their children here.” Kim Styles, who decorates Cranbrook Manor with her husband Rob Styles, said.
In addition to its Halloween activities, Cranbrook Manor has incorporated community fundraising into its annual operations. Donations collected at the attraction have supported the Humane Society of London and Middlesex.
According to Global News reporting, the display raised $4,000 for the organization in 2022. The fundraising initiative provides an opportunity for the annual Halloween event to contribute to a local charitable organization.
The attraction requires significant preparation, with decorations, mechanical features and themed environments assembled ahead of October.
Its continued development reflects the growing interest in elaborate residential Halloween displays.
