Christmas shopping is right around the corner
Having many jobs give out their vacation or Christmas pay on payday, people are getting ready for the big season’s bills.
People with bigger families find this type of year a struggle to keep up with
“I have a 10 member of my family, so I’m taking double shifts to try to pay off my credit card bill, but I know for sure I’m going to be paying off the bill for the next few months” was explained by an urban behavior worker at Masonville when asked about Christmas shopping.
But the malls seem to get less busy as the years go on
“Malls start to get busy late November, throughout December having all most all the stores having some kind of sale, but we are seeing it get less busy in November” 
a worker at the help desk at white oaks explained when asked how Christmas shopping has been going in the mall
The mail being sent through has increased over the years. Even though many people thought that mail rates are going down because fewer people are sending letters. Instead, mail workers have more deliveries than ever due to so many online shoppers.
The start of November throughout December the mail delivery has its spike of the year and packages were given out in a day have increased.
“I stopped going to the mall to buy stuff because it’s just always busy and I can do all my shopping at home within just a few minutes. But more getting out of my day in traffic to get what I need” by a worker at Apple when asked why the online shop.
Now that online shopping is more available and more convenient, people don’t tend to go to the mall as often.
There are many new ways to get what you need without leaving your front door. Now that we have Uber eats, online grocery delivery and other sources people tend to pick convenience.
But that doesn’t mean the malls will be empty.
“Many stores only have the sales available only on location so the malls will still be busy but not as much as normal” said by the urban behavior sales associate when asked by the malls are still busy having online shopping now
Many older citizens will still pick shopping at the malls online. Many people still have not adapted to trusting online shopping. Many people find the fear of getting a false item, wrong size or even the fear of not getting the item on time.
November to December is a stressful year for many people just remember the true meaning of the season, getting gifts and spending money isn’t the thing about it.
