NDP Leader, Jagmeet Singh asked New York Representative, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to play Among Us via Twitter yesterday.
The game will be streamed on Twitch today at 7 P.M. EST. The stream will include Youtuber, Northernlion and political commentator and Twitch streamer Hasan Piker.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or AOC as she’s known, live-streamed the game last month garnering close to 450,000 viewers on Twitch.
AOC is a New York representative who attracts many of the younger population with her progressive ideals that line with social democrats like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.

Among Us is an indie developed game that massively grew in popularity this year. The game consists of up to ten players where eight are called crew members while two are imposters. The goal of the game varies depending on what goal you get.
Crew members aim to identify the imposters and eject them out while completing assigned tasks located all across the map. And an imposter’s mission is to eliminate each of the crew members, while sabotaging different areas of the map.
Northerlion and Hasan Piker will also be joining the two political figures in a lobby.
Ryan Letourneau, otherwise known as Northernlion, is a Youtuber with close to a million subs on the platform. He does playthroughs of indie and AAA games.
Hasan Piker, who also goes by Hasanabi on Twitch, is a political commentator on Twitch. He was one of the streamers who participated in AOC’s Among Us lobby back in October.
