The Game Awards 2021 is the first Game Awards back, with fans in attendance since the start of the Pandemic. There have been so many great games this year. Games like Resident Evil 8, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Deathloop, and It Takes Two dominate the nomination lists. As per usual, the game awards will announce and reveal many upcoming games.

The Game Awards big reveals were not only games but movies too. The first movie reveal is the brand new trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2. You can see the trailer below:

The second reveal came when legendary game designer Hideo Kojima appeared to introduce the new movie, Nightmare Alley starring Bradley Cooper. You can see the new trailer below:

There was one more type of reveal, and it was for a tv show. Out of nowhere, the trailer for the Halo show that Steven Spielberg directs appeared on the screen. Check it out below:

It was a fitting end to The Game Awards. On a night where they highlighted rising creators, and a look to the future, a creator and his small team that built his game from the ground up took the top award amid massive contenders. Deathloop, It Takes Two, and Forza Horizon 5 finished as the top winners of the night, winning three awards each.
