The world of psychics may hold a lot of answers, in addition to many questions.
With believers, non-believers, and those intrigued but not sure if they believe, there is a lot of curiosity by the world of psychics.
Cindy McIntryre is a local psychic and answered her call to bring peace and help with Trillium II .
“I really believe that we all have our special gifts and talents. That’s when we can start to really live in peace when we’re living in that purpose.”
McIntryre’s buisness has been running for the last 25 years, and has expanded beyond London into the mountains.
“I channeled for people. Like literally all over the world. It’s incredible. We’ve really been blessed and continue to be blessed to travel. I’ve been hired by companies to speak in Spain and Africa, and that was an incredible experience. The universe is just so vast and if we don’t limit our thinking, and if we don’t limit what we believe can happen if we’re open to those experiences, all things are possible, right?”
In addition to her meetings, McIntryre has also worked alongside the RCMP to help channel for missing people.
“I began to work a lot with the RCMP, and gotten involved with search and rescue. I love all components of my work. But my absolute favorite part is search and rescue. And it’s search and rescue where you find the child or you find the missing animal and it ends on such a positive note. Having said that, not all cases, obviously in that way. We’re always trying to work together for the good of the whole.”
To be inquisitive of the mysterious world is valid, but for those in the world of science they have their own answers.
Ryan Klimowski is a physicist and unfolds the reasoning behind science’s rejection of psychics.
“Physics especially, you try to deal with things that are very physical, funny enough. You have to work within the restrictions of the universe, and some of those involve just the transfer of information itself. What you’ll hear some psychics claim will be that you can see into the future, or they can predict things to come, which goes straight against how we understand information, and how we understand time. As far as the scientific community believes, there’s no reasonable way for information to travel backwards through time. So to grab information from somewhere in the future, is physically impossible.”
While there is a divide between believers and non-believers of the possibilities psychics hold, Psychic Lori Simeunovic emphasizes her tagline “Woo Woo without the cuckoo” with taro reading.
“I’m not a fortune teller. I don’t make predictions. I’m very adamant about that. There’s a whole little spiel I say at the beginning of every reading, that very clearly states I’m not going to be saying ‘You’re going to meet Frank at the Starbucks’, that’s goofy.”
In utilizing her tarot cards for readings, Simeunovic taps into the energy. “We tap into your energy, and each card tells a different story. Then when you put the cards together, they tell the story of you, and it gives you a little peek of the energetic landscape, like a little peek behind the curtain to see what the energetic landscape is from now to six to nine months out.”
Simeunovic highlights the message in her tarot readings over the past 30 years “What you choose to do with it is up to you because you have free will,” to reflect on the power people hold for their own selves and future.
“I always say if anyone claiming to be psychic says ‘You must do this on this day’, that’s ridiculous. That’s goofy nonsense. That’s why I always give people my ‘Woo Woo PSA’ at the start of each reading. It’s not fortune telling. Carl Jung, the famous psychologist, he was obsessed with Tarot cards because he saw how the tarot cards tell these universal stories that tap into the collective unconscious. It’s telling stories that we’ve been dealing with for centuries.”
When giving a reading, Simeunovic notes it may seem “Specifically random and randomlly specific,” with tarot cards.
Above all, if you are still on the fence on beliving, both Simeunovic and McIntryre underline caution from those prying on vulnrability. McIntryre notes to listen to your own Higher Self in addition to your own research for a reading.
“I think the trademark of a real medium is that the individual leaves with peace in your heart. And if that’s not happening, then I would question the source. Certainly, this type of work requires a different level of energy. So, I think people charge accordingly. But I would say it’s how do you feel around the individual more than anything. Listen to your own Higher Self.”
