On Saturday, many people came down to Fanshawe College for the school’s Fall Open House.
Hundreds of prospective students toured the campus in search of programs to study in their post-secondary career.
The day was filled with program booths, information seminars, residence and campus tours, and small activities put on by the Fanshawe Student Union.
“I’ve always wanted to experience journalism and enhance my writing abilities,” says a prospective student who did not want to be identified. He says that he wants to combine journalism with his passion for sports.
He says he wants to take his business university degree and apply that to a career in journalism.
“It can allow me to become more knowledge and I can attain a greater understanding in both, business and journalism.”
The next Open House will be virtual on November 6th and people can register by going to fanshawec.ca and clicking on the registration link.
