As black history month is ongoing, many people celebrate it in their own way. Tafadzwa Maposa who is one of the artist from London displayed her art showing black history at Central Library.
For black history month, some Londoner have events or activity. And this display can be one of the events.
“I came here at Central Library to watch Maposa’s display. It was very interesting that it was a work that represented black people. Her display showed me a series of black history. I’m so glad to celebrate black history month with this display.” Says Kay who was at the scene.
Her collages focused on themes of identity, beauty and family. And this time, she focused on especially black representation. And the audience including kay can see the focus.
This is good opportunity for London people to celebrate and enjoy the display and holiday. The display have good message and purpose. London people can seem to enjoy the events during this month and they will celebrate more this holiday.
