Wednesday’s ‘Fight To End Homelessness’ resulted in a sold-out crowd.
The charity boxing event at RBC Place saw a total of 32 entrepreneurs and business leaders, with 18 weeks of training, battle it out in Ontario-sanctioned matchups. Over 1,000 people attended.
All funds raised at the event will go to Joan’s Place, a hub of Youth Opportunities Unlimited.
The funds could equal or even exceed last year’s total of $300,000, which in itself was an improvement over the first event’s total of $80,000.
