The Middlesex-London Health Unit has announced the closure of its mass vaccination clinic.
The clinic, which is located in the Western Fair District and has been operating for three years, will be permanently closing on December 16. It has provided 235,407 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to date.
“This moment signifies an important milestone in our collective journey against the global pandemic, and it is with appreciation that we acknowledge the hard work and dedication of everyone involved,” says Dr. Alex Summers, Medical Officer of Health at the MLHU, in a statement posted to Twitter/X. “Looking ahead, it is important to remember that the fight against COVID-19 and vaccination efforts in our community continue.”

Appointments can still be booked until the closing date during their usual operating hours of Tuesday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can book online at www.covidvaccinelm.ca or by calling 226-289-3560 Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
