The highly anticipated Western Fair returns with its signature array of events and entertainment.
Hosted by the non-profit organization, Western Fair Association, the fair features popular midway rides, live performances, classic fair foods, art displays, informative agricultural exhibits, fun competitions, and many more; making it an enjoyable experience for people of all ages.
Sitting on 85 acres of land are rides perfect for adrenaline junkies such as ‘Pharoah’s Fury’, ‘Mega Drop’, and ‘Ring of Fire’ as well as the Fair Food Court with over 20 various vendors. Aside attractions, it also includes the Farm Lane where families can go and see various animals such as horses, cows, and alpacas as well as learn about agriculture and the animals.
“Every year we try to come up with something new. So for example, we have fried poptarts just over there, we have dirty sodas right behind me, so we have these new foods that you can try and it’s always exciting to try something new at the fair.” says Angela Hawkins who is charge of the fair’s marketing. She says that they make the fair very accessible through affordable pricing in order to make sure that it is fun for people of all ages. “For example, if you’re ten or under or if you’re a big kid, 65 plus, you get in for free.”
So whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a foodie, a curious learner, or all of the above, the Western Fair has something for everyone.
