A fire broke out in Sarnia last night, sending a man to the hospital.
The Sarnia fire rescue, police and EMS responded to a call around midnight last night.
Fire Prevention Officer John Milne said they arrived to heavy smoke coming from the building.
The Sarnia Fire Rescue said on social media that the first-in crew went in and removed one person from the building. CPR was administered immediately, and police say the man was transported to the local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Milne said the fire was contained to the ground floor, and damage is around $50,000 – $100,000.
Victim Services was called to help the people who are directly affected by the fire.
