The 4th annual Sunfest Block Party returns to the London Brewing Co-op to celebrate the brewery’s 11th anniversary and to launch their 2025-2026 Global Music and Jazz concert series.
The event will be held on Sept. 26 and Sept.27 at the brewery where both nights will feature a total of 5 live acts, 2 DJs, and a variety of food trucks, vendors, and more.
Alfredo Caxaj, Sunset’s co-artistic director, describes the Block Party as a smaller-scale Sunfest.
“But really it makes it special because, you know, it’s more like it’s happening in a more intimate atmosphere, you know, in a more intimate space, you know.” says Caxaj.
“And again, you know, fulfilling our commitment that as a community arts organization, you know, our goal is to continue enriching, enhancing the cultural and social life of this community, but making all this global music accessible to everyone.” he adds.
The Global Music and Jazz concert aims to showcase diverse music throughout the year as they feature both national and international artists.
“That’s the nature, because we really promote inclusivity, accessibility, diversity as a way of bringing the community together. And this is what it is. And this is also a good way to create these meetings between international and national artists.” says Caxaj.
Sunfest Block Party is not only a celebration of the London Brewing Co-op’s anniversary and launch of the concert series, but also a celebration of the end of summer.
