It’s a busy week for London-area sports, with championship tournaments, key matchups, and redemption games on the schedule.
The Fanshawe Falcons golf team is competing at the OCAA championship, having advanced past the first round. The team is scheduled to return to action on Oct. 1.
Fanshawe’s men’s baseball team will look to bounce back Tuesday after a loss to Sault Ste. Marie. The Falcons will take on St. Clair College, with the game available to stream on the OCAA website.
The Falcons women’s softball team is set for a doubleheader on Friday against Sheridan College. First pitches are scheduled for 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., with live stats available on the Fanshawe Athletics website.
In OHL action, the London Knights will host the Flint Firebirds on Friday at Canada Life Place. The Knights are looking to snap an early-season losing streak after dropping games to the Brampton Steelheads and Erie Otters last weekend.
