The Ontario Public Service Employee Union (OPSEU) strike has gone on for almost three weeks now.
There has been no new news and there has been no progress on a deal.
XFM News reached out to Adam Rayfield, who is the local 109 OPSEU president.
Adam Rayfield was unavailable for an interview but provided some information.
“An agreement has not been reached, talks have broken off again and we remain on strike”
There is no known date for the next round of bargaining talks. Both sides seem to be far apart on a deal. With both sides being this far apart, this strike could go on for much longer.
Adam Rayfield and other local 109 OPSEU members will be striking outside of Windsor’s OPSEU office on Thursday.
