London police are investigating after a synagogue on Adelaide Street North was broken into overnight between late Monday, Oct 6 and early Tuesday, Oct 7.
“Alcohol and money were stolen from the place of worship.” Police said.
Investigators say there are no indicators that the break-in was hate-motivated at this time.
“The investigation has been reassigned to the LPS Street Crime Unit and is being reviewed by the LPS Hate Crime Unit.” London police spokesperson added.
Members of the synagogue were unable to comment on the incident.
No arrest has been made so far.
