Police say a student in St. Thomas has been charged after bringing a BB gun to school and making threats.
Police responded to a St. Thomas high school Monday for a suspected firearm. A student allegedly showed a classmate a suspected firearm in their backpack and uttered threats towards a student who was not present.
Police located the student in question and the weapon was seized and identified as a replica pistol BB gun.
The student was arrested and charged with one count of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and awaits a court date.
