The London Nationals have suffered their second loss of the season after losing to the St. Marys Lincolns 5-1 on Friday night in a rematch of last year’s conference semi-finals.
The Nationals started the season with eight straight wins, but since then have dropped two games in a row against St. Marys and Listowel, who beat them 2-0 on Oct. 8.
The nationals finished fifth in the Western Conference last season and reached the conference semi-finals before being eliminated by St. Marys in seven games.
London has not been to the Sutherland Cup finals since 2019, but an 8-2 start through the first 10 games shows promise for the team’s season as they sit atop the west.
