The arts and humanities building at Western University (via Doors Open Ontario)
Faculty and support staff demonstrated in protest to cuts in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.
Nearly one hundred people were involved in the protest which occurred at noon.
According to the University of Western Ontario Faculty Association, four support staff positions were eliminated as a part of staff restructuring.
Western said that during the academic year more than twelve thousand people work at Western including about fourteen hundred full time faculty and twenty-five hundred full time staff.
There is fear that these protests are just the beginning.
A number of students also took part in the protest.
