A hydro pole got struck Monday afternoon on Dundas Street at McCormick Boulevard.
Police say both directions of the area are shut down with two people being transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The road is expected to be closed down for an extended period of time as London Hydro works to restore power and fix the hydro pole.
About 400 Londoners are without power.
Shortly after noon, London Hydro said power had been restored in the area.
