NextStar Energy is expanding its Windsor plant to begin production on energy storage system batteries.
The new energy storage system batteries (ESS), are designed to support everything from commercial buildings to large scale power grids.
NextStar has also added a new chemistry to it’s production to help support this expansion. Lithium Iron Phosphate (known as LFP batteries) are suitable for a wide range of battery needs.

Chief Operating Officer Brett Hillock says they have the flexibility to produce batteries for energy storage systems.
Thanks to this mass production, the company has hired over one thousand new employees who have received highly specialized training.
