he story of an incredible nineteen-year-old girl who collected $30 thousand dollars to help homeless people in the province of Ontario, Emma Weller, a young woman in her 20s who is passionate about hockey, journalism, and helping people in any way created an initiative where she could help homeless people in the winter.

Emma’s life took an unexpected turn after TSN contacted her in 2021 to make a documentary about her and the initiative, Winter Bundles, which took place in her bedroom in Ottawa, this initiative that help homeless people around Ontario with hats, mittens, and neck warmers among other things for the winter.

why homeless people?
“I would say specifically to homeless people, you know, people walking down the street they see homeless people and they disregard them; they think that they are disgusting, that they are rude, that they are unhuman, and I think that its so wrong.”

In 2022 she continues to make this initiative a better place for people who are homeless.
