After 10 years Canadian rock icons and Grammy nominated artists Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson have announced they will be returning to the stage in 2026 to celebrate the bands music, their legacy, and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart in 7 cities across North America on their “fifty something tour.”
The band have been away from the stage since their R40 tour wrapped up in August 2015, and tragically in 2020, lost Peart to brain cancer.
Geddy Lee, the bands lead vocalist said about the upcoming tour, “So in 2026 my BFF and I are going to hit the road once again to pay tribute to our past and to Neil by performing a vast selection of Rush songs in a handful of cities. No small task, because as we all know Neil was irreplaceable.”
The tour kicks off on June 7th in Los Angeles and eventually the two make will make their way back to where it all started in Toronto for two dates Aug. 7 and Aug 9. 2026
